Event Description:

What makes a poem work? What does a poet take into consideration? How do you make poetry come alive? Two ‘master classes’ will let you listen in on a really good writing circle, learning how they do it.

Master class 1: Words Together

Four rising poets – Jacob Scheier, David O'Meara, Elizabeth Bachinsky and Laisha Rosnau -- will join Edmonton poets to share and critique work.

Master class 2: Performance Focus

Musician-poet C.R. Avery will work with Edmonton writers on presenting poems to their best advantage.
